The document presents a study on the 'Learning Tracker', a dashboard designed to enhance self-regulation among MOOC learners by providing feedback through social comparisons with successful peers. The study, which involved randomized controlled trials across three MOOCs, demonstrated improved graduation rates and engagement with graded materials; however, it found no immediate effects on learners' self-regulation behaviors. Future work is suggested for testing personalized feedback and exploring social effects on motivation and learning behavior.
