TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA collected new 3D seismic data in two areas of the Norwegian Barents Sea, called FP13 and HF13. FP13 covers an area of 3,500 km2 over the Finnmark platform and targets include shallow siliciclastic and carbonate reservoirs of Paleozoic age. HF13 covers an area of 8,600 km2 to the east that extends coverage out to the Fingerdjupet sub-basin, targeting quality sandstones within horsts in the lower Carnian, Mid Jurassic deltas, and lower Cretaceous prograding units, as well as rotated fault blocks in the sub-basin.
