The colour of the textis a harsh sliver, arguablymetal. The effectof thischose of coloursuggests

keylightingandoverall noshotsof intense light.Thiscontrastswiththe silverfont, resulting in
the titlesdisplayingclearlytothe audience.
At the beginningof the sequence however,we see the titleof the filmnotconformingtothe
same fontas the othertitles.“GhostProtocol”appearswithasmokyeffect,zoomingforward

Shots
Duringthisopeningsequence avarietyof shottypesare used.
Mid-shot
In this screenshot, we see an effective use of a mid-shot. This type of shot provides the
audience with this character’s face in some detail. In addition, this shot lasts on screen
longer than most other shots in the title sequence. The effect of this strongly suggests that
this character holds an important part in the film.
Long-shot
In this screenshot we see Tom Cruise from a long shot scaling a building. This type of shot
provides the viewers with a look at the dangerous environment which he is in. The effect of
this is that a code of action is given to the audience, suggesting that this filmwill consist of
lots of action.
