 Many states already have laws in place to
keep drivers from talking on their cell
phones while operating a vehicle. Some
states have variations on cell phone bans
depending on what type of driver you are.

 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Texting_while_driving
 As of October 2010, eight states have
banned cell phone use and driving.

    California, Connecticut, Delaware,
    Maryland, New jersey, New York
    Oregon, Washington

Avoid Texting While Driving

 Twenty-nine states and the District of
    Columbia prevent novice drivers, 16
thru 21 years of age, from using any
type of cell phone while driving.

 These states are.
 Alabama
 Arkansas
 California
 Colorado
 Connecticut
 Delaware
 Georgia
 Illinois
 Indiana
 Lowa
 Kansas
 Kentucky
 Louisiana
 Maine
 Maryland
 Massachusetts
 Michigan
 Minnesota
 I personally think texting and driving is
a very bad mix, because it causes
    serious accidents. The average texter
takes their eyes off the road for at
least five seconds. At 55 miles per
hour, that's enough time to cover the
length of a football field or easily
enough time to cross into the path of
    an on-coming vehicle.
 Research has also shown that drivers
are more likely to obey a law that has
    stricter legal consequences. Making
texting while driving a primary offense
would increase enforcement of the law
against texting, and that would make
    the highways safer.
Reflection
 Basically texting while driving can be a
deadly risk. I can strongly say that texting
and driving is 100% out of the question. I’d
rather live a long healthy life and not end it
or mess it up, over something as stupid as a
text message. Nobody is worth dying over.
After watching this video you would be
stupid to continue texting while driving.
