a. Coke/fizzy drink
b. Dishwashing detergent
c. Baking powder
d. Water
e. Vinegar
f. Lemon juice
g. Tea
h. Alka-Seltzer tablets
i. Sugar solution
j. Salt solution
k. Soap/Handwash
l. Toothpaste
m. Milk
METHOD
1. Put 3 drops of vinegar into the well of the spotting
plate.
2. Add 1 drop of universal indicator to the vinegar.
3. Observe the colour of the solution.
4. Compare the colour of the solution to the colour on the
universal colour chart.
5. Record the colour and the pH in the result table.
6. Repeat steps 1 – 5 with other household substances
7. Take a photo of the result and upload it to google doc
