TESTIFY TO
THE GOSPEL
PASSIONATELY
!
ACTS 20:21-24
v.21 I have declared to both Jews
and Greeks that they must turn to
God in repentance and have faith in
our Lord Jesus.
v.22 "And now, compelled by the
Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem, not
knowing what will happen to me
there.
ACTS 20:21-24
v.23 I only know that in every city the Holy
Spirit warns me that prison and hardships
are facing me.
v.24 However, I consider my life worth
nothing to me, if only I may finish the race
and complete the task the Lord Jesus has
given me--the task of testifying to the
gospel of God's grace.
ASND
Acts 20:24
REASONS YOU
MUST TESTIFY TO
THE GOSPEL
1. FOR THE LOST TO HAVE FAITH IN THE
LORD JESUS AND BE SAVED
Acts 20:21
I have declared to both Jews and
Greeks that they must turn to God in
repentance and have faith in our Lord
Jesus.
2. TO OBEY THE CONVICTION OF THE HOLY
SPIRIT
Acts 20:22
"And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am
going to Jerusalem, not knowing what
will happen to me there.
Acts 20:22 (NLT)
And now, in obedience to the Holy
Spirit I am going to Jerusalem, not
knowing what will happen to me there.
3. LIFE IS WORTH NOTHING WITHOUT
TESTIFYING TO THE GOSPEL
- To spend and use your life in the
most meaningful and most glorifying
way
3. LIFE IS WORTH NOTHING WITHOUT
TESTIFYING TO HE GOSPEL
Acts 20:23
I only know that in every city the Holy
Spirit warns me that prison and hardships
are facing me.
Acts 20:24
However, I consider my life worth nothing
to me, if only I may finish the race and
complete the task the Lord Jesus has
given me--the task of testifying to the
gospel of God's grace.
3. LIFE IS WORTH NOTHING WITHOUT
TESTIFYING TO HE GOSPEL
John 15:8
My true disciples produce much
fruit. This brings great glory to my
Father.
4. TO FULFILL THE TASK FROM THE
LORD JESUS
Acts 20:23
I only know that in every city the Holy
Spirit warns me that prison and hardships
are facing me.
Acts 20:24
However, I consider my life worth nothing
to me, if only I may finish the race and
complete the task the Lord Jesus has
given me--the task of testifying to the
gospel of God's grace.
TESTIFYING TO THE GOSPEL IS YOUR
MINISTRY
(MKJV)
But none of these things move me, neither
do I count my life dear to myself, so that I
might finish my course with joy, and the
ministry which I received from the Lord
Jesus Christ, to testify fully the gospel of
the grace of God.
TESTIFYING TO THE GOSPEL IS YOUR
LIFE'S MISSION FROM GOD
(GW)
But I don't place any value on my own life.
I want to finish the race I'm running. I want
to carry out the mission I received from
the Lord Jesus-the mission of testifying to
the Good News of God's kindness.

yourselves, it is the gift of God—
Ephesians 2:9
not by works, so that no one can boast.

GOOD WORKS AND DOING RIGHTEOUSNESS
Titus 3:4
But when the kindness and love of God
our Savior appeared,
Titus 3:5
he saved us, not because of righteous
things we had done, but because of his

Acts 20:24
But none of these things move me,
neither count I my life dear unto
myself, so that I might finish my
course with joy, and the ministry,
which I have received of the Lord
Jesus, to testify the gospel of the
grace of God.
1 Corinthians 9:16 (NIV)
Yet when I preach the gospel, I cannot
boast, for I am compelled to preach. Woe
to me if I do not preach the gospel!
1 Corinthians 9:16 (GW)
If I spread the Good News, I have
nothing to brag about because I have an
obligation to do this. How horrible it will
be for me if I don't spread the Good
News!
