This document provides instructions for basic Facebook page functions including: 1. Switching between posting as a personal profile and as a business page. 2. Creating new posts, adding photos/videos, and publishing posts. 3. Scheduling posts in advance by selecting a future date and time. 4. Liking or commenting on another page's post while logged in as your own business page.

1. Business Page Facebook Basics
1. How to switch between posting as a profile and posting as a Page
1. Go to your Facebook Page and log in.
2. Simply click the arrow or gear icon at the top of Facebook and select the Page
that you’d like to log in as.
Note: When you log in to Facebook as a person using your profile and visit your
Facebook Page, you automatically assume the voice of your Page when posting
content to your Page and replying to commenters on your Page. If you want to
switch your voice to your personal profile and post as a person on your Page,
simply click the Change to Your Name link.

2. 2. How to Post
1. Go to your business page.
2. Click “write a post. “
3. Begin writing your post.
4. If you’d like to add a photo or video, choose “photo/video” and upload the picture
of video you’d like to share.
5. Once you've completed your post, click “Publish” or “Share Now.“
Note: As you become more comfortable with the sharing and posting, play
around with the different post options! Polls can be a very effective way at
engaging your followers.

3. 3. How to Schedule Posts
1. Go to your business page. Find the “More” tab at the top of the page and select
“Publishing Tools. “
2. Click “Create” in the upper right hand corner of the page.
3. Write your post and upload any photos and videos like you typically would.
4. When you’re finished composing your post, click the “schedule” button.
5. Select a date and time you’d like to schedule your post and hit “schedule. “

4. 3​. How to like or comment on another Page’s post as your page:
1. Go to the Page post you want to like or comment on.
2. Click your profile picture in the bottom-right corner of the post.
3. Select the Page you want to like or comment as.
4. Like or comment on the post.

5. 4. How to publish, like or comment as my Page on another Page's post or
timeline.
1. Go to the Page you want to publish on.
2. Click your profile picture in the top right corner of the posting box.
3. Select the Page you want to publish as.
4. Create your post, then click Post.
Note: Keep in mind that a person's profile isn't the same thing as a Page, which
can represent brands, businesses or causes. While you can publish, like or
comment as your Page on another Page, you can't do the same thing on a
person's profile.
