Our agency has developed the website of a scientific and educational project about the
television called "Telecontext" on the order of "Russian Television and Radio Broadcasting
Network" (RTRS). This special project is a part of РТРС.РФ federal website, elaborating its
ideas. The latter provides information support for "Digital Television Broadcasting" Federal
Special Purpose Program.
"Telecontext" scientific and educational website opens doors into the world of new
television technologies, due to which television enters every house. The anthology of the
most important facts about the present and the future of television encloses very
interesting information that unlocks all the secrets of the major TV channels and modern
broadcasting programs. It is a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the people who
greet you every day on air.

the most convenient encyclopedia of television. Thanks to "Telecontext" website even
such a wide audience as Russian televiewers will be able to easily orient itself in the world

6. Project description
The idea of creation of a similar TV encyclopedia emerged after the analysis of users'
search queries on the topic of television in western segments of the Internet along with
the corresponding counterparts in the Russian Internet. Research results have shown that
the Russian Internet has many websites on cinematography and telecommunications, but
there are no resources that would meet the requirements of general users, who are not
proficient in the technical aspect of TV broadcasting. Correspondingly, there appeared an
idea of filling-in this niche by creating an attractive, popular, and simple website, which
would present specific information to users in a laconic and simple form, and which would
serve educational function as well.
Concept of "Telecontext" partially adopts the structure of Wikipedia, offering website
material search, dictionary, and interlinking between the articles, eliminating the necessity
of constant returning to the front page. Use of different shades of blue is the key element
of the website visual solution, as this color is natural for the human eye. Blue color calms,
relieves stress, and doesn't irritate the vision.
