around and music was able to be shared and

Man perceives music differently.
In the 1880’s Recording came along making
sharing music much easier, and world-wide.

Michael started out his talk on a personal note by
telling stories about his Dad, and explains why he
is his biggest mentor and teacher

He showed that the difference between a happy
and a sad reaction to music (Major and Minor) is
only 63 Hertz, the difference between E natural
and E flat.

Michael was able to take the simplest things and
say them in a way that would make people laugh.

Although Michael’s talk was 20 minutes, he was
able to keep me engaged the entire time.

Rehearse your speech ahead of time.
Do not write your speech out verbatim and stand
there and read it.
Make bullets of the key points as a reference.

Stand up and engage the crowd, start with a story,
connect with your audience.

Time your rehearsals.
Only go as long as you can keep your audience
engaged.
Stay on topic.
Make sure your stories have a point to them.
