This technology integration report summarizes a 3rd grade science lesson that used a computer projector, microphone, and online game to teach students about simple machines. Students were able to choose which simple machine to learn about next using the computer. Each student could see the projected demonstrations and explanations of how simple machines work. The technology helped illustrate and reinforce the concepts by providing visual examples of how simple machines are found in everyday objects. It allowed individual student participation and engagement with the material.
