Six Student ComputersPromethean BoardThe Promethean Board is used daily to engage students in learning activities. The regular education and special education teacher collaborate to design lessons that work for a variety of learning styles. In a typical class session, the board is used for an educational games, to show a short video clip, and to display data.
Activote:Student Response SystemThe student response system allows the teacher to rapidly collect assessment data. The data is used to determine which students need enrichment or remediation activities. The teachers are also able to spend more time assessing student writing samples since they are freed from grading multiple choice and true/false questions.
ActivSlateThe ActivSlate allows the teacher and students to manipulate the Promethean Board from anywhere in the room. The students are often given the ActivSlate to complete a task in front of the entire class.
ActivInspireWhile the hardware deployed in the classroom is certainly significant, the power of the software driving the system should not be ignored. ActivInspire from Promethean allows the teachers and students to create and manipulate text and pictures with easy. Additionally, Promethean Planet, the company website, provides a wealth of assets.
