Group 8 developed a multimedia application for Android devices that allows users to play music, videos, and record tunes. It supports common multimedia formats and requires Android 2.2 or later. The team spent one week building background knowledge, two weeks on analysis and design, six weeks implementing features, two weeks testing, one week deploying the app, and one week planning maintenance. They used Eclipse as the IDE, Java and Android SDK libraries for programming, and tested the app on Kindle Fire, Samsung Galaxy S2, and HTC One X devices.
