Fabio Barcia, Founder and CEO, holds a bachelors degree in Chemistry from the Faculty of
Humanities Pedro II, a Master of Science and Technology of Polymers from the Federal
University of Rio de Janeiro and a Ph.D. in Polymer Science and Technology at Federal
University of Rio de Janeiro. He is also a researcher at the Institute of Macromolecules
Professor Eloisa Mano (IMA) and has experience in the area of Materials Engineering and
Metallurgy, acting on epoxy resin, adhesives and coatings. He worked in CTPETRO design for
systems development and repair consisting of carbon fiber and epoxy resin.

Ivaneide Lima, Production Director, is a technician in chemistry with specialization in polymer
materials. She was first a Polinova employee working in R&D projects along with Fabio Barcia
on developing Polinova’s product portfolio.
