Polinova Technologies has four main research areas: high performance coatings, epoxy putty, structural adhesives, and structural reinforcement with composites. Their research focuses on using nanoparticles and chemical modifications to epoxy matrices to create nanoepoxy structures. This improves mechanical properties, adhesion strength, and chemical resistance. Their new nanoepoxy adhesive and coating are scheduled to launch in 2014. They have over 14 years of experience modifying epoxy resins in partnership with universities and Petrobras, and have received $0.6 million in financing for nano-modification research over two years.

 The highlights of Polinova technologies are the use of nanoparticules and

 The objectives of this research are improve the mechanical properties,
adhesion strength and chemical resistance of new generations of
Polinova’s products.
 The new nanoepoxy adhesive and nanoepoxy coating will go to market in
2014.

Our Technical Team has more than 14 years of experience in modifications
of epoxy resin in partnership with Federal University of Rio de Janeiro
(UFRJ) and Petrobras. Furthermore, the project of nano modification of
epoxy products has 0.6 million dollars to apply in this research in two years
(FINEP financing).
