Over the past 5 years, the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team in Indonesia has trained over 2,300 participants in 14 provinces on using OpenStreetMap for disaster preparedness. They have mapped areas exposed to the Rokatenda and Kelud volcanoes to help with response efforts. The OSM Indonesia community has grown significantly on social media with over 3,000 members, 2,600 tweets, and nearly 16,000 video views, and provides training guides, tutorials, and support to help more people contribute to the map.
