Problem Statement
• It is a highly tedious job to fix an appointment with a doctor at
a hospital.
• It gets worse when it comes to waiting at the reception for our
turn to see the doctor.
• It seldom happens that after that appointment fixation and
painful wait at the reception one is unable to meet the doctor
as he had to leave for an emergency.
• Also, navigating through the hospital to reach to our doctors
cabin becomes quiet a task.
One Stop Solution:
A Beacon device and a robust software system
with a thorough mapping service can solve this
problem.
Future of appointment:
 A mobile application can be provided by the hospital
to masses to as to have an easy access to the medical
facilities.
Future of availability of doctor at
the hospital
 A beacon device will alarm the management about
the patient’s appointment as soon as he enters the
beacon’s set range and henceforth send a request
signal to the patient regarding the confirmation of his
appointment.
 The patient then sends back a an acknowledgment
signal.
Future of availability of doctors at
the hospital
 When the doctor ,despite his appointment has to rush
to an emergency, the management intimates the
patient through the same request signal about
rescheduling of his appointment with other doctor.
 If the patient agrees then he can send an
acknowledgement signal or also can decline the
request if he dosent want to see the other doctor.
 A notification panel from the software will enable the
patient to know about his appointment timing 15
minutes prior.
 A robust navigation will help the patient to get
directions towards his doctors cabin as soon as he
enters the hospital premises according to his
appointment schedule.

  • 2. Problem Statement • It is a highly tedious job to fix an appointment with a doctor at a hospital. • It gets worse when it comes to waiting at the reception for our turn to see the doctor. • It seldom happens that after that appointment fixation and painful wait at the reception one is unable to meet the doctor as he had to leave for an emergency. • Also, navigating through the hospital to reach to our doctors cabin becomes quiet a task.
  • 3. One Stop Solution: A Beacon device and a robust software system with a thorough mapping service can solve this problem.
  • 4. Future of appointment:  A mobile application can be provided by the hospital to masses to as to have an easy access to the medical facilities.
  • 5. Future of availability of doctor at the hospital  A beacon device will alarm the management about the patient’s appointment as soon as he enters the beacon’s set range and henceforth send a request signal to the patient regarding the confirmation of his appointment.  The patient then sends back a an acknowledgment signal.
  • 6. Future of availability of doctors at the hospital  When the doctor ,despite his appointment has to rush to an emergency, the management intimates the patient through the same request signal about rescheduling of his appointment with other doctor.  If the patient agrees then he can send an acknowledgement signal or also can decline the request if he dosent want to see the other doctor.
  • 7.  A notification panel from the software will enable the patient to know about his appointment timing 15 minutes prior.  A robust navigation will help the patient to get directions towards his doctors cabin as soon as he enters the hospital premises according to his appointment schedule.
