Each one is different and unique
with their own strengths. A dash
of each and you will end up with
a great recipe.”
How To Be A Successful Teacher
Each of the following recipes plays a key part
in becoming a successful teacher. Each recipe
contains important ingredients necessary to
create a positive, successful and structured
learning environment for my students.
Let’s get cooking!!
Multiple Learning Styles
½ cup linguistic
½ cup kinesthetic
½ cup interpersonal
½ cup naturalistic
½ cup existential

½ cup logical
½ cup musical
½ cup intrapersonal
½ cup spatial

9 different learning styles. Each of them need
to be acknowledged. Not all individuals learn
the same. I need to accommodate my
students needs in order for each individual to
be successful in their learning.
Organization
2 cups routines
½ cup structure

2 cups rules
¼ tbsp. consistency

The organization of the classroom will structure
it and help make it run smoothly. Rules and
routines will guide the students to appropriate
and acceptable behaviour. The most important
key to remember: consistency will result in a
positive and safe environment.
Relationships
¼ tbsp. time
½ cup respect
½ cup honesty
A dash of commitment

½ cup trust
¼ tsp loyalty
¾ tbsp. supportive

Maintaining relationships requires time and
commitment. I need to develop honest, loyal
and trusting relationships with my students.
Each individual in the classroom maintaining
a relationship needs to be respectful and
supportive of one another.
Confidence
1 cup believing in yourself
½ tbsp. positivity
1 ½ cups happiness
¼ tsp avoiding negativity

Confidence doesn’t come easily. With a cup

clear understanding of the situations. Always
have a positive outlook and remember to
breathe!
