Tbilisi is the capital and largest city of Georgia. It is an important industrial center with mechanical, textile, food and distillery industries. Tbilisi has an international airport and is at the center of the country's road and rail networks. The city has a metro system with three lines and a tram network. Tbilisi is also a center for education and culture, hosting several universities and the Georgian Academy of Sciences. Some of the most famous landmarks to visit include the City Hall, Rustaveli Theater, and monuments in Mtatsminda Park.

urban level, a metro network and a tramway. The
subway consists of 3 lines:
• Line 1 (red) "Gldani-varketili" (Ahmetelis Theatres-
varketili)
• Line 2 (green) "Saburtalo" (Vaza-Pshavela Vagzlis
Moedani) with a short section under construction
between vaza Pshavela and Universiteti
• Line 3 (blue) is being built in the Rustaveli-Vazisubani
in design from the north of the city on Rustaveli.
