The Task Recorder tool in Dynamics Ax 2012 helps generate documents, training materials, and video recordings to communicate implementation details to other developers and business users. It offers basic recording of tasks into documents or XML files and advanced recording of business processes into video, documents, and metadata uploaded to Lifecycle Services. Configuration involves selecting a mode, industry, framework, and hierarchy level for the recording. Advanced recording generates files that are uploaded to new or existing projects and processes on Lifecycle Services.

Recorder”
This tool helps us to generate documents, training material and video
recordings. This feature helps us to communicate other developers
and business users of organization after implementation.
These documents include step by step instruction which helps to

• Package contains the file generation with extension asbxm. This file
contains data follow diagram and video for the process.
• Steps, After selection the node with advance mode selected node,
and generates the asbxm.
• Dynamics Ax create batch job, which is time consuming job. Wait
for batch job completion. After batch job successfully created, a file
is created at stored folder.
