TASK 4 EAC BULLETIN (20%)
As the crew of the famous EAC Bulletin team, you have been assigned to a new task
that requires you and your team to report on one of the current issues occurring
around. With 4 other crew members (5 members including yourself), choose one issue
to be covered in EAC Bulletin. The duration of your story must be within 10 to 15
minutes.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Divide your story into 3 parts:
a. Introduction - Attention getter and reveal of the issue.
b. Content - Interviews, music, pictures, videos, subtitles and other
relevant details.
c. Conclusion - Summary of the issue and suggestions/recommendations.
2. You may use the template provided on page 3 to help design your task. However, you
are not required to submit it to the instructor.
3. Conduct at least THREE interviews with related individuals. Identify the interviewees.
e.g. authority, victims, affected person, public etc.
4. Pose sufficient number of questions (minimum of 5 questions) and ask relevant
questions to the interviewees. Make sure that your questions can bring out important
answers and valuable information for your viewers.
Note: You may refer the notes in Unit 7.
5. All interview questions MUST be posed in English. Make sure that the format of the
questions is correct. Your questions must be open-ended and not yes/no questions.
Note: If your interviewees do not understand English, ask twice, once in English and again in
BM or your mother tongue.

6. State the interviewees’ names and positions/roles during their appearances.
e.g. Mr. Rashid Anwar, Police Officer
Miss Shakila, English Teacher
Mr Musa, Flood Victim
Ali, Family of the Victim
7. Each member’s name has to appear on screen during his/her every appearance.
8. All group members must appear in the video for an equal amount of time.
9. Holding a microphone would be a good idea as it can make the report seems more
real (a dummy microphone would be great!)
10. For video editing, you may use any free and user-friendly software such as Cyberlink
Power Director, Sony Vegas etc.
11. To submit, upload the video to YouTube. Next, embed it to MyLearn, at the
designated forum according to your class number. Do not forget to state all group
members’ names and Matric Numbers.
Please emphasize on:
1. Topic – relevant, interesting, in-depth and informative.
2. Pictures and videos – smooth and relevant.
3. Audio – clear and audible narration, suitable background music.
4. Interviews – at least THREE interviews, with sufficient number of relevant
questions.
5. Delivery – language, fluency, pronunciation, types of questions used.
6. Subtitles – must be provided ONLY IF the interviewees respond in Malay language.
GOOD LUCK!
