Pros and Cons of Social Networking_ Top 54 Pros and Cons.pdfHaramKhan15
Social networking enables people to connect and communicate globally, share information, and build communities based on shared interests. It also offers professional opportunities, fosters creativity, and raises awareness. However, privacy concerns, cyberbullying, addiction, misinformation, and health issues are some of its drawbacks. Responsible and mindful use is essential to balance the benefits and challenges of social networking.
For those who already tweet, but want to grow their network and get more out of the platform. Particularly relevant if you're in the academic environment, but applicable to all sectors.
There is a more detailed version of this presentation, which was used as part of the Becoming a Networked Researcher suite of workshops at the University of York, elsewhere on this Slideshare account.
A guide to why Twitter is relevant in the research environment, how it can be useful, and how to Tweet successfully.
There's a link in the presentation to the handout used in this workshop - although it was aimed at a University of York audience, it's relevant for any academics or researchers interested in using social media.

Elevating Tactical DDD Patterns Through Object CalisthenicsDorra BARTAGUIZ
After immersing yourself in the blue book and its red counterpart, attending DDD-focused conferences, and applying tactical patterns, you're left with a crucial question: How do I ensure my design is effective? Tactical patterns within Domain-Driven Design (DDD) serve as guiding principles for creating clear and manageable domain models. However, achieving success with these patterns requires additional guidance. Interestingly, we've observed that a set of constraints initially designed for training purposes remarkably aligns with effective pattern implementation, offering a more ‘mechanical’ approach. Let's explore together how Object Calisthenics can elevate the design of your tactical DDD patterns, offering concrete help for those venturing into DDD for the first time!

Twitter is an American online news and social networking service on which users post and
interact with messages known as "tweets". It was founded by Jack Dorsey, Noah Glass, Evan
Williams, and Biz Stone, and in March in march 2006. In fact, Twitter is one of the most popular
social networking services in the world which allows registered users to send short message to
other registered users. The word Twitter comes from the frequent chirping sound made by
birds, hence the bird used in the Twitter logo.
Twitter has many uses of both personal and business use. It's great way to keep in touch
with your friends and quickly broadcast information about where you and what you're up to.
Twitter is basically the best way to discover new content and keep up with your favorite
topics of interest and people. Twitter lets you exchange ideas and information with other
people around the world. For business, Twitter can be used to broadcast your company's
latest news and blog posts, interact with your customers, or to enable collaboration and
group communication.
Advantages Of Twitter
1. As Twitter is one of the world’s most popular social media platforms with a massive
population, Many businesses use Twitter as it allows direct two-way communication with a
variety of customers.
2. Twitter is fast , so the people following your business will receive the tweet immediately.
3. By using Twitter, the business owners would let their customers be informed on all the latest
news about their business.
4.Twitter is free and it doesn’t require a monthly payment. So, you can create an account for free
and start posting.

and people that you want to know easily

advertisements. This represents a great advantage as it does not saturate the user with
information that may not interest you.

every post, as it only allows 140 characters per post.

onlycould be quite a lot of fake accounts all over Twitter but also in most cases, these accounts
would be spam accounts.
3. Twitter is not ideal for the visual content and it is mostly text based. So, You can’t upload the
videos on it. It means, if you want share more photos , videos on twitter, it’s not more effective
like other photo and video sharing sites.
4. The main disadvantage of Twitter is its addiction , When you start to use Twitter, You will be
involved in it and it will waste your precious time.

disadvantage if the publication is false or offensive.
