PERSONAL STATEMENT
After spending time away from my career to spend with my daughter during her formative
years, I am seeking to re-enter the workforce. Having spent majority of my employment period
in retail, I believe I have the experience to become a valued team member to any employer.
SKILLS &ABILITIES
During my time with Woolworths, I gained the experience and knowledge required to perform
in a high pressure environment. I have excellent customer service skills and the patience to
handle difficult situations.
I am a reliable, amicable and competent person who enjoys working in both a team
environment, or alone.

 Customer service: sales, recognising and acknowledging regular customers, upselling,
knowledge of goods, taking orders and keeping them in order of purchase,
recommending goods based on customer preference
 Money handling: ensuring customers receive the correct change, changing money with
other vendors
 OHS: Identifying and rectifying potential hazards, temperature checks, safe food
handling, ensuring hot foods are at a safe temperature, ensuring overstocks are stored in
a safe manner
