Hello,
My name is Tal, 40, experienced CPA and CFO. I would like to submit my candidature for the position of
CFO.
Extensive experience in the field of retail operation and management
Currently, I'm holding a position of CFO at Globus Max Ltd. that owns and operates 11 movie
theaters (83 cinema halls) across Israel. The company is owned by an American corporate group and
is currently in the process of establishing 7 new movie theaters (approx. 100 cinema halls). My
responsibilities regarding this matter are as follows: conducting project feasibility study, business
plan preparation regarding each project, establishment of the branches' financial and accounting
systems, constant performance control and examination of the compliance with business plan
forecast.
I have gained an extensive experience in managing companies operating in various fields and
composed of several branches. For example: at my former work place I have held a CFO position at a
corporate group, managing the financial aspects of several companies simultaneously: 1. Importer
of international brands, engaged in distribution of products to retail stores and leading store
chains in Israel; 2. Company that operates a retail chain (15 stores, some of which are
franchised) deployed widely throughout the country; 3. Manufacturing company that sells its
products online.
The aforementioned companies are subsidiaries of a large public company.
I have over 10 years of experience in the field of financial management. All companies I have worked at
- the financial aspects were completely under my responsibility, while I served as the CEO's right-hand
man regarding any matter, including the following: working in close collaboration with the Board of
Directors; managing the funds of each branch and store operating as an independent profit center,
while handling various financial and commercial activities separately, for example: cinema and buffet
separate financial management, staff management and motivation, cash flow management; stock,
import and acquisition management; handling pricing, taxation, bank relations, financial statements,
bookkeeping, credit, foreign exchange, payroll, implementation of various measures and reports,
including supporting information systems; establishing procedures and daily work routines, and their
integration among the company's employees and managers; responsible for the company's financial
management while working in conjunction with banks, managing the relationship with customers and
suppliers both in Israel and abroad, making the required accounting in conjunction with the agents and
handling the fees for each project; acquisition management, while constantly striving to reduce costs
and delivery time as an integral part of the overall efficiency improvement process; supervising import
and export and responsible for the company's human resources and payroll system.
I'm highly business-oriented and served as the CEO's right-hand man in all companies I have worked
for. I have led to significant changes and managed new business initiatives, scouted for potential

and products.

Professional experience:
2012-2015 - CFO, Finance and Accounting Department, Globus Max Ltd. The company owns and
operates 11 movie theaters (83 cinema halls) across the country and is owned by an
American corporate group. The company is currently in the process of establishing 7

 Managing and motivating a staff composed of 4 bookkeepers and a HR manager.
 CEO's right-hand man regarding any matter.
 Working in conjunction with major clients and suppliers both in Israel and abroad.
 Creating business plans for the establishment of new branches, while focusing on large-
scale fundraising and implementation of feasibility studies for each project.
 Establishing financial and accounting systems in each branch, while handling two types
of activity separately: Cinema and Buffet.
 Implementing stock monitoring and setting objectives for stock decrease.
 Continuous performance control according to the business plans.
 Establishing control systems and work procedures in various departments.
 Responsible for the payroll system, including contracts and establishment of personnel
employment models.
 Preparing annual budget and forecasts, and monitoring the process of goal

 Conducting annual and quarterly financial statements according to the IFRS regulations.

a separate and independent profit center with different types of financial activity, while
putting an emphasis on statistical comparison regarding the relevant periods.

relationship management.
 Supervising the activities of the Acquisitions Department. Continuous supplier
relationship management. Conducting negotiations with customers and suppliers.
 Continuous cash flow and follow-up reports management, including overall

group, including a company in the field of product import, marketing and distribution
to stores and retail chains; a retail chain company (15 stores, some of which are
