This document outlines a year-long project where students investigated issues related to the Chesapeake Bay watershed. The students performed a puppet show and created educational videos to teach others in their community about the local problems impacting the watershed and some potential solutions. They partnered with various organizations and received a $500 grant to plant native plants in their community. The project was student-centered and focused on using inquiry-based learning approaches like asking questions, conducting research, and reflecting on their work.
