• We use modal verbs to show if we believe something is certain, probable or possible (or
not). We also use modals to do things like talking about ability, asking permission making
requests and offers, and so on.

• Can: I can help improve the planet
• Could: We could have taken better care of the planet
• May: the planet may be much better if we all collaborate
• Might: Let's take care of the planet now, it might get worse afterwards
• Shall: the planet shall be the best place to live
• Will The students will help us to take care of the planet
• Should: we should walk or play sports with the students

• Can: He can have better health
• Could: He could improve his health if he comes to the doctor´s
• May: It's very healthy, but it may be better
• Migth: It's fine, but it might be better
• Will: the students will not help to improve our physical condition!
• Should: We should exercise with the students!
• Shall: I want to go to San Jose, they might teach us their great coexistence
among them

• Can: I can teach very good values
• Could: He could improve his values
• May: I want to go, I may teach better values

• May: We can go to San Joséa Norte, we may see their attendance in classes
• Might: I want to go to San José, they might teach us their great coexistence among
them
• Will: The students will help us to learn how to improve coexistence!
