A recent chemistry licensure passer applied for an open chemistry teacher position at the Department of Food Science and Chemistry at UP Los Baños. In the letter, the applicant highlighted their qualifications including a BS in Chemistry degree from UP Visayas, passion for teaching and imparting knowledge, strong communication skills, and desire to instill honor and excellence in students as a fellow UP graduate. The applicant enclosed their resume and transcript and expressed willingness for a teaching demonstration or job interview.

in need of a chemistry teacher. In view thereof, I would like to apply for the said position.
I am a BS Chemistry graduate of UP in the Visayas, and a passer of the recently
concluded Chemistry Licensure Examination.
I fervently believe that I have he qualities that will make a great teacher: an
unparalleled sense of dedication not only to the job as a teacher, but also to the student’s
learning and other academic needs; effective communication skills; and, a burning desire
to impart and exchange knowledge and ideas with an open mind and critical thinking. As
