This document describes how to restore a computer to its original factory software configuration using two options: One Key Recovery or a System Recovery Disc. The One Key Recovery method involves pressing F8 during startup and selecting System Image Recovery to restore from the latest backup. The System Recovery Disc method requires booting from the repair disc, selecting System Image Recovery, and inserting multiple discs as needed to complete the restore process. Both methods will reimage the computer and restore it to its original factory state.

1. Power On the Machine
2. Press F8 Button continuously while booting up
3. Advance boot option will appear

6. Choose Repair Your Computer

7. Using the mouse, click on the
Troubleshoot

8. Choose System Image
Recovery

9. Enter Administrator password
“pass” then click Continue

10. In Re-image you computer
window, click on the
“SELECT A SYSTEM IMAGE”
then click “NEXT BUTTON”

11. Then Click on the Local Disk
(E:) then click “NEXT”

12. Then Click on the LATEST
BACKUP OPTION then click
“NEXT”

13. Click “NEXT BUTTON ONLY”

14. Windows is restoring you

17. USING SYSTEM RECOVERY DISC
PROCEDURE:
1. Power on the unit
2. Press F12 button continuously
3. Insert the “REPAIR DISC”
NOTE: YOU WILL ONLY USE THE SYSTEM RECOVERY DISC IF THERE IS A HDD REPLACEMENT

18. Before the unit boots up please insert the
“REPAIR DISC” and press F12 to access the
boot menu

19. CHOOSE P4: HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GHA2N

20. Wait for the Loading Files to finish

21. In Windows Setup Click on “NEXT BUTTON”

22. Then Click on “REPAIR YOUR COMPUTER”

23. Click on “TROUBLESHOOT”

24. Click on “SYSTEM IMAGE RECOVERY”

25. INSERT THE FINAL DVD OR THE LAST DISC IN
YOUR SYSTEM RECOVERY DISC THEN CLICK
“RETRY BUTTON”

26. In Re-image you computer
window, click on the
“SELECT A SYSTEM IMAGE”
then click “NEXT BUTTON”

27. Then Click on the Local Disk
(E:) then click “NEXT”

28. Then Click on the LATEST
BACKUP OPTION then click
“NEXT”

29. Click “NEXT BUTTON ONLY”

30. Now insert the Disc 1 to Final
DVD as needed
