Your first Journal post
PURPOSE
• To begin a reflective journal, recording the key events and activities you
have undertaken to develop your Changemaker venture
TASK
• In My Changemaker Journal in NILE, begin recording any event or activity
that you undertake that is relevant to your Changemaker journey. You will
start this Journal in Unit 1, but you should keep up the Journal throughout
the whole of your activities until you submit for an award. Try and keep a
weekly journal entry, to record discussions you have had, meetings you
went to, learning activities you participated in, and make a few notes
about how your ideas are changing and developing
REFLECTION AND FEEDBACK
• Read the Changemaker Journals of two other participants and make a
contribution to their thoughts and experience. Make comments on your
own journal about what you learnt from reading other people’s work

Changemakers Week 4: Social Venture Canvas and Peer Feedback

The assignments…get it? • AS1 – Social Venture Canvas 60% (poster presentation) • AS2 – External Peer Feedback 40% (a reflection of external feedback on your Social Venture Canvas) • What is the Journal for? – To record and reflect upon your Changemaker journey – To provide an opportunity for your peers to view and comment • What are the e-activities for? – To encourage your thinking to help identify a social problem – To help you understand Changemaking • Why am I being asked to work in a group? – Your Social Venture Canvas is submitted Individually as your own work, however working as a supportive group will provide opportunities to idea generation and to explore social problems – Innovation favours a ‘connected mind’

Your first Journal post PURPOSE • To begin a reflective journal, recording the key events and activities you have undertaken to develop your Changemaker venture TASK • In My Changemaker Journal in NILE, begin recording any event or activity that you undertake that is relevant to your Changemaker journey. You will start this Journal in Unit 1, but you should keep up the Journal throughout the whole of your activities until you submit for an award. Try and keep a weekly journal entry, to record discussions you have had, meetings you went to, learning activities you participated in, and make a few notes about how your ideas are changing and developing REFLECTION AND FEEDBACK • Read the Changemaker Journals of two other participants and make a contribution to their thoughts and experience. Make comments on your own journal about what you learnt from reading other people’s work
