Acme (Philadelphia) | For more than a century, Acme has built a reputation for quality products,
low prices and friendly service. Acme holds a strong market position in Philadelphia with both
conventional supermarkets and combination food and drug stores under the Acme Sav-on banner.

Albertsons (Intermountain/Northwest/Southern California/Las Vegas) | With top market positions
in Boise, Las Vegas and Orange County, and leading shares in fast-growing metropolitan areas like
Los Angeles and San Diego, Albertsons is one of the premier grocery chains in many of these regions, with
conventional supermarkets and combination food and drug stores under the Albertsons Sav-on banner.

bigg’s (Ohio) | When the first bigg’s opened its doors in Cincinnati in 1984, it was one of the only stores
in the country to offer both grocery and general merchandise. Today, shoppers depend on bigg’s for
everything from the finest perishables to housewares and clothing.

Bristol Farms (California) | This upscale gourmet and specialty food retailer is known for its innovative
approach to grocery retailing. Bristol Farms’ unique atmosphere, unusual items and friendly service have
captured numerous awards.

Cub Foods (Minneapolis/St. Paul) | Cub was one of the first total discount food stores in the United States.
With stores in Minnesota and Wisconsin, Cub gives shoppers a wide selection of top-quality, name-brand
products and the freshest produce, meats, seafood and baked goods at everyday low prices.

Farm Fresh Food & Pharmacy (Richmond/Hampton Roads, Va.) | Farm Fresh. To customers in the
Hampton Roads, Va., area, those two words are synonymous with the finest foods, brands and services
available. Farm Fresh is consistently recognized as a favorite grocery store in the communities where it
does business.

Hornbacher’s (Fargo, N.D./Moorhead, Minn.) | Hornbacher’s shoppers expect the freshest product, best
selection and lowest prices from their store, and that’s a promise that Hornbacher’s delivers. Customer
satisfaction and a strong community partnership have remained constant with Hornbacher’s since 1951.

Jewel-Osco (Chicago) | Prime locations, one-stop shopping services and a loyal customer base have helped

             Save-A-Lot | From coast-to-coast, Save-A-Lot delivers tremendous savings to more than four million
             customers each week. These edited-assortment stores offer national-brand product and a strong private-label
             assortment across all categories, including general merchandise. This emphasis on quality store brands
             allows Save-A-Lot shoppers to find significant savings of up to 40 percent compared to conventional
             grocery stores.


             Shaw’s/Star Market (New England) | Shaw’s and Star Market are both well-established in the New Eng-
             land market. With roots reaching back to the Civil War, Shaw’s and Star Markets are popular with shoppers
             in Boston and throughout New England. Stores include conventional supermarkets and Shaw’s-Osco
             combination food and drug stores.


             Shop ‘n Save (St. Louis) | A St. Louis institution for more than 25 years, Shop ‘n Save is focused on bringing

             Shoppers Food & Pharmacy (Washington, D.C./Baltimore) | Since 1949, shoppers in and around the
