For my Sustainable project I
started collecting all the leftover
fabric pieces and trims from
apparel department and from CIT
in textile department before the
lockdown.

I collected different types of
fabric ranging from suiting
fabrics to organza. But the
material I choose to use were
rolls of tulle because I like the
translucency and they are
perfect for my application of
making a drapery fabric for
windows.

7. OBSERVATIONS
The piece grew organically without a predetermined pattern.
By adding and subtracting layers of the same color tulle, the intensity is
influenced.
Informed by an additive color scheme, the hues of tulle interact when overlayed
with varying colors. For example, the layering results in one color becoming more
and more prismatic or a shift in hue temperature as different colors are layered
beneath.
Problem Observed: The piece risks being generic as bojagi has been around for a
long time and there may be similar pieces like this in the market.
Solution: Continue referral to framework imagery to observe more relationships
within the imagery and draw inspiration from it.
