This document summarizes LIBER's activities in supporting open scholarship. LIBER is a network of European research libraries working to provide an information infrastructure for world-class research. It advocates for policies and practices that promote open access, research data management, training, and new roles for libraries. Key areas of focus include developing policy recommendations; coordinating open access policies; providing research data management support, training, and skills development; and exploring future library roles like serving as a laboratory and publisher. The goal is to create optimal conditions for open scholarship through collaboration, infrastructure, and developing competencies.
