A.WhiteList Email
Whitelist our email addresses (MUST DO!)
Suppliers will receive automatically notification emails from WritePath when cases are available on our
system. These alerts will be frequently sent to your email based on your availability and the number of
cases available. Therefore, our notification emails may go into the Spam section in your email
account.
To prevent this situation, WritePath suggests suppliers to add our email address
<service@writepath.co> to Contacts in your email account with the following instructions:
A.WhiteList Email
Gmail: Setting -> Filter & Blocked Addresses -> Create a new filter-> Type: service@writepath.co
in “From” Field -> Click next and Choose “Never send it to Spam” -> Create a filter.
Yahoo: Mail Options -> Filter -> Click Add -> Type: service@writepath.co in “From” header ->
Click the "Choose Folder" pull down menu and select "Inbox" -> Add Filter.
Hotmail: Options -> Click Junk E-Mail Protection” link -> Select “Safe List” link -> Copy and paste
service@writepath.co into the box titled “Type an address or domain” -> Add
Outlook: Options -> On the Preferences tab, click "Junk E-mail"-> On the Safe Senders tab, click
"Add" -> In the Add address box, copy and paste in service@writepath.co and click OK.
Others: The most common way to whitelist an address is to add it to your address book, white list,
or safe list. There is no universal way to whitelist an address, so if this is not an option, you will
have to consult the help section associated with your email application.
B. Account Interface
Account interface
provides the following
information:
● A button to switch
on/off availability
● A rate table and
your individual
classification
● A history with all
feedbacks
● A history with all
case fees
C. How Case Assignment Works
Icons by Madebyoliver
Automatic: The system will send out case notification to ALL
qualified translators in the language pair and category requested
by the client. Whoever claims the case first is the translator
responsible.
Manual Inquiry: Our Project Manager will contact you directly to
ask for your availability to claim special cases and projects.
C. How Case Assignment Works
You DON’T HAVE TO claim cases all the time
No need to claim the case if:
1. You think the turnaround time is too short
2. The topic of the content is too difficult or time-
consuming for you
3. You simply don’t want to
Not claiming cases will not affect your opportunity of
receiving future cases
C. New Case Notification
You will receive a case notification that is
sent to ALL qualified translators in the
language pair and category requested by
the client.
“New Job Available –
[Translation/Editing/Copy Writing
XXX]”
Note: Click “Claim this case” link in the
email and you will be redirected
automatically to the website. If it is not in
your case list that means someone has
already claimed it.
C. New Case Notification - Assigned
You will receive a case notification email
as one of the suppliers assigned to the
client:
“New Case Assignment”
Note: Since the case was directly
assigned to you, please claim it as soon
as possible.
D. Claim a Case
ID: Case ID
Job Type: service and target Language Pairs
Type: original file type
Due in: time to finish your translation/editing/copy writing case
File: preview the file (do not work on it until you have claimed the case!)
Words: total counted words
Pay: total payment for the case if you deliver the translated case on time and receive no penalty
Action: you can read and write a message from/to Client/ claim case / upload case
D. Claim a Case
Jobs I need to finish: shows cases
you already claimed and you must
finish. Please pay attention that you
should finish your current cases
before claiming new cases.
Jobs assigned to me or New jobs!
Make some money! : shows new
cases and you can claim it by clicking
“Claim job”
E. Types of Cases
1. Non T-Booster
2. T-Booster
E. Types of Cases - Non T-Booster
1. Non T-Booster Case - Download the original file in its own file format, and make changes directly
on the file. Supplier only needs to download the file, and translate/edit it then upload the completed file
on the system.
download upload
E. Types of Cases - T-Booster
2. T-Booster case - Work directly online through our platform. T-booster is a translation memory with
terminology management and will help to improve the speed and quality of translations. Terms in the
translation memory will be deducted from original file’s word count. It has its own interface and there is no
need to download or upload any file. You will directly translate in the system, although the option for
working offline in a specialized excel template is also offered.
Click this icon under “File” after you claim the case to start working in T-Booster
! For more details on T-booster, please read where the user guide is located
mentioned in the next slide
E. Types of Cases - T-Booster
T-BOOSTER USER GUIDE
Please DO NOT translate those parts within triple brackets [[[ ]]]. Copy the text into the target field and leave the
structure intact.
F. Finalize and Revise the Case
To Finalize T-Booster cases :
click on the top right corner in
T-booster
To Finalize Non T-booster cases:
upload through icon
In case you would like to revise
your completed cases, you can go
to “All previous cases” on the right
hand corner of your account and
edit the case.
G. Message Function
Read client’s message: mandatory to read
client’s message before and during job.
This will help you notice client’s requirement (if
applied).
Write message: You can write message to client by
clicking on the envelope item.
Important Note:
Messages related to text content and technical terms
directly send message to client for clarification.
Messages related to administration/service/counted
words/system matter or others must be sent to
service@writepath.co.
H. Penalty Fee
Delayed cases incur in an automatic 20% penalty fee from the system unless
otherwise negotiated with WritePath.
Complaint cases (ex: 1 or 2 star low score feedback) may result in >50%
penalty fee. To be determined after Quality Control Team’s review.
I.Payment
Our system will request payment on the last day every month, and
payment will be made on the 25th of the next month. If the 25th
is a holiday, payment will be made on the next business day.
Icons by Madebyoliver
Please fill out your payment details in your account.
The payment for a case will only be requested when the case is
confirmed by the client. When will the case be confirmed? Seven
days after the case due date. The actual case due date may not
be your translation or editing due date.
I.Payment
Tax/health insurance will be pre-deducted depending on your
payment method and citizenship. Please refer to your contract for
details.
WritePath does not cover any bank service charges.
For any accumulated payment under USD$50(TWD$2,000), we
will pay quarterly (April, July, Oct. and Jan.).
Please Do…!
Research for proper names, places and such - if you don’t know it,
Google it
Message the client (using our message function) for any uncertainties
regarding the source text
Keep in touch with WritePath when working on cases - please don’t
disappear on us!

FAQ
It has been 7 days since I delivered my case. Why hasn’t the
case been confirmed yet?
Your case delivery date may not be the actual due date for the case. When we
receive your delivery, we might need more time to process the case before we
can deliver it to the client.
For example, your case delivery date may be 2016-08-10, but the actual due
date for the client may be 2016-08-15. Therefore, the case confirmation date
would be 2016-08-22
FAQ
It’s the 25th already. When will I get paid?
While we make payments on the 25th unless it is a holiday, we cannot be sure
of the exact time you will receive the money. Please contact your bank or
PayPal for more information.
One Friendly Reminder...
No WORD-BY-WORD TRANSLATION
unless specified by client/WritePath
Contact
Questions related to administration/service/counted words/or system matter
send email to service@writepath.co.
Payment questions please send email to fee@writepath.co.

  • 22. FAQ It has been 7 days since I delivered my case. Why hasn’t the case been confirmed yet? Your case delivery date may not be the actual due date for the case. When we receive your delivery, we might need more time to process the case before we can deliver it to the client. For example, your case delivery date may be 2016-08-10, but the actual due date for the client may be 2016-08-15. Therefore, the case confirmation date would be 2016-08-22
  • 23. FAQ It’s the 25th already. When will I get paid? While we make payments on the 25th unless it is a holiday, we cannot be sure of the exact time you will receive the money. Please contact your bank or PayPal for more information.
