The SUN-GE9100 series OLT features high reliability and flexibility. It supports 8 GEPON ports connecting up to 512 ONUs and 8 Gigabit Ethernet uplink ports. The OLT provides layer 2 switching and management functions. It uses hot-swappable fan and power modules in a 2U rack chassis. The OLT cards support 1.25Gbps symmetric PON ports with a maximum reach of 20km. The OLT is well-suited for FTTB/FTTP/FTTH access network solutions.
