PERSONAL PROFILE
I am an ambitious, self-motivated and positive individual who is highly organized
and consistent in my work.I have the necessary design, managerial and teamwork
skills to run an editorial’s design department, launch corporate identities and
campaigns and work effectively and respectfully within multiple teams to insure
that the work is done efficiently and successfully.
After more than seven years of professional experience in advertising and print
media, I started my career as a graphic designer in Team Young & Rubicam in
Kuwait. After nearly one year, I joined Bazaar, one of the most popular magazines
in Kuwait, where I displayed my skills as both a graphic designer and
photographer. It was there where I developed a clear understanding of print
production especially due to my main responsibility of creating the annual dining
guide including the production of the monthly magazine,a job that required both
my photography and design skills.
After nearly four years at Bazaar, I decided it was time for a new challenge. I found
it at Impact & Echo, a local agency that is part of the BBDO network. As an Art
Director,I spent more than three years learning the ins and outs of the advertising
business.Apart from working on major brands affiliated withAlghanim Industries,
I was an integral factor in Gulf Bank’s major campaigns that included print, radio
as well as television commercials. My time at Impact & Echo – BBDO was filled with
beneficial learning experiences that perfectly complemented my existing skillset.
Right now,I am looking for an opportunity and not necessarily specific to my field.
I would consider exploring other options.I am progressing with improving myself
psychologically and physically through a leadership program. I am looking to
build a career with a company that has a friendly, flexible working environment
where I can learn, develop, and thrive.
