This document provides an overview of more efficient finance reporting capabilities in Zuora. It discusses three key reports: 1) Churn Rate, which measures the percentage of subscribers leaving each month, 2) Net Retention Rate, which indicates revenue growth from existing customers, and 3) Invoice Totals by Transactions and Home Currency, which sums invoice amounts in transaction and home currencies. It reviews the data sources and calculations for each report and demonstrates how to create the reports in the Zuora user interface. The presentation aims to help users identify important metrics to understand the health of their business and see new "Insights" capabilities for subscription analytics and dashboards.

15. Report 1: Churn Rate

Churn rate is a measure of how many
subscribers are leaving each month. With
high the churn rates, your business must
compensate by increasing customer
acquisitions.
Why is this
important? Monthly Rollup Metrics
Data Sources
Each version of a Zuora subscription has a
status that indicates if the subscription is active
or cancelled. We can compare the number of
cancelled subscriptions to the number of active
subscriptions to determine the churn rate.
