This document outlines two prototypes created to help a student develop skills to make their resume stand out and find a job. The first prototype involved the student conducting market research to identify in-demand skills, then developing those skills with a mentor or training. Feedback indicated this prototype provided clarity about the process and potential alternatives. The second prototype focused on understanding industry needs and challenges to identify skills and competencies. The student would then self-analyze, receive training and guidance from mentors, and develop better skills and opportunities. Feedback was that this route clearly showed how to reach career goals and identify missing steps. Reflection noted prototypes may differ in practice and multiple solutions are important to consider.
