PRETOTYPING IDEAS
Disclaimer: unfortunately, I wasn’t able to do the assignment
properly this last week, in the next slides I show you ideas which I
had in mind and sketched but had no time to “build and test”. Still,
this first preparing part of the excercise already made me gather
some practical thoughts.

2. Prototype 1 – MAKING IT VISUAL: A
SEARCH JOURNEY WALL MAP
• I wanted to do a very scrap do-it-yourself guide of how the
stakeholder could gather the information and arrange it on
a big wall to have a giant visual mindmap of who he
was, what he was looking for, searches he made, people he
met, jobs he applied for, cvs, ideas, thoughts, etc. With
ideas of how he could arrange all that in fancy and inspiring
way, tips, etc…
• The idea to be tested is wether the stakeholder finds it
motivating to gather all his job searching data and “build”
something big and attractive out of it, to have some
sensation of achievement, as well as being a practical
tool, providing him a good general view of his own
progress. The practical details would need further
prototyping.

3. Protoype 2 – Job Searching Squads
• I found this tricky to test as I needed more
people. The simplest way to prototype this I
think that would be to directly sit with a few
other people to play role de Job Searching
Squad and try to organise ourselves, e.g. like a
mini-company with the common goal of
finding a job for each member, give out
tasks, etc, define deadlines and deliverables…
The objective is not to be alone during the
process.
