This 11-week Cornell Data Science Training Program syllabus provides an introduction to various machine learning models, visualization techniques, and data manipulation strategies using the R programming language. The course is open to all Cornell students and meets on Wednesdays from 5-6pm in Gates G01. Over the course of the semester, topics will include linear regression, logistic regression, decision trees, clustering, dimensionality reduction, ensemble methods, and analyzing text. Assignments and projects will provide practice applying the taught concepts.
