This presentation was delivered at the TESL Ontario conference in 2018. It details how instructors can get some creativity out of their students with the end goal of a formal presentation using Google Poly to generate a virtual tour.
11. • inexpensive alternatives to real trips

Virtual field trips offer

14. Publish the Tour

32. Google Tours considerations
• Accessing Google accounts
• Attendance
• Browsers inconsistent
• Time to locate a suitable 360 Street view
• Student confidence in identifying items to include in each scene
• Mysterious movement of targets in the scenes (user error)
34. Ideas for next term
• students to create their own 360 scenes
• post them to Google Street View
• use them as the scenes for their project
• Teacher generated tour for each academic course
