Jodie Stevens, a PhD candidate at CQUniversity, is researching the physical activity levels and movement patterns of rail drivers at work and home. She aims to find the right balance of sitting, standing, and movement while maintaining productivity. Her study will examine how physical activity levels differ based on demographic factors like age, gender, and family responsibilities. She also wants to understand how work factors like scheduling, tasks, shiftwork, route length, and service type impact movement at home and the relationship between work and home activity levels.
