 Higher Responsibilities – During training preparation fulfilled the roles of both role player
and team leader for all other role players. Worked with a large group of trainees to

 Higher responsibilities – Was working as Team Leader and was asked at short notice to
step up to the supervisor’s role for eight weeks. Demonstrated an ability to effortlessly
take on additional responsibilities and gain the trust and respect of colleagues of the
same level.
 Mentoring – Proactively ensured that all training was conducted to a high standard in
the absence of senior staff. Delivered a group of communications experts that were well
trained and able to perform a wide variety of tasks. Achieved this by ensuring that
trainees were focused on their tasks, and they worked in a positive environment.
 Leadership – Led the team through six large training activities during the year,
performing as a supervisor during two of the activities. Easily mitigated issues that arose

 Promotion – On commencement of this role was promoted to a higher level. Exemplified
and maintained a high standard of discipline, dress and bearing for trainees and

recruits, reflecting on the level of training and perseverance provided.
 Time Management - Worked under significant pressure during initial training periods
where extended hour weeks were common to achieve course objectives. Always
completed training, lessons, briefing and exercises on time and within allocated
parameters. Ensured all recruits received equal training.
 Managing Conflict – Worked with several recruits who were not able to fulfil the
requirements of the role. Assisted them in their transition during this difficult time with

 Manage Stress - Ensured technical standards were kept at all times despite facing
numerous challenges. As a qualified Paratrooper, assisted the team to deal with
numerous physical and mentally difficult situations by sharing ways to manage stress and
fatigue.
 Volunteer Roles - After working-hours volunteered to work in the sections social dining
and recreational club and regularly participated in out of work activities. At all times
