Strengthening e-cataloguing steps
3. Introduction
It is not enough to input bibliographical details in a MARC
template but to know the appropriate field for such
information and have knowledge of AACR2, thereby
strengthening the steps of e-cataloguing. The proper filling
of MARC field 008, 600 for subject, record itemisation and
cognisance of punctuation marks strengthens e-cataloguing.
