This document provides an overview of FPT Play, a streaming OTT solution developed by FPT Software. It discusses the system architecture, which includes live streaming, VOD distribution, a website/CMS/API, and continuous development. As of 2014, FPT Play had over 1 million registered users, 200k daily active users, and could support 80k concurrent users. It was available on Android, iOS, Windows Phone, Samsung and Sony smart TVs, and provided a streaming platform and services to partners. The team consisted of 11 developers and 2 systems engineers focused on ongoing improvements and expansion.
