Here, we use the concept of differential to find the approximate value of a function. We can find the values easily with a calculator as well! If y = f(x), we learn the differential of y, and learn the formulae used to calculate the approximate values of y. This video is application oriented. It focuses on solving problems based on the formula. We also learn about absolute error, approximate error and %error. As a teacher, I have found students getting confused about approximate error and actual value of the function.i have explained the difference in the video. So, watch this video to understand approximations.

What is a parabola? How is it derived from conics?
Watch this presentation to find out.
Here, we learn how a parabola is derived when a plane cuts a cone. We learn that, for a parabola, distance of a point from the focus = distance of the point from the directrix. We solve problems based on this principle and also learn how to calculate equation of the axis and the coordinates of the vertex.

HOW TO DRAW GRAPHS OF FUNCTIONS
This video teaches how to graph lines, linear inequalities, parabolic functions and other functions. It also discusses the various conditions under which the graph shifts up, down , left or right. It also shows how the graph gets shrunk or stretched vertically. Reflection of a line along y = x is also explained.
