• Susan – FT, NVD , No postnatal complications
• At 4 wks of age shunt placement for
hydrocephalus
• At 3 years , seizures- Antiseizure medications
overdose
• Increase spasticity
• At 6 years – Adductor lengthening
3. • Noticed scoliosis , at 8 years- dislocated hip
• Hip reconstruction for dislocated hip
• Soft tissue lengthening for rt shoulder
dislocation & progressive varus deformity for
feet
• Post spinal fusion at 12 years age
4. • Revision of shunt and leads to intracranial
bleeding
• Surgery for retinal detachment
• Parents believe that delayed dx is the reason
that their child is suffering
6. • 1300 gram
• Delayed milestone
• CP dx at age 2 years
• 7 years – she developed contractures
• 10 years – rt hip dislocation & left hip
subluxation
She was advised hip reconstruction but she opt
for spinal cord stimulation for pain relief
• 15 years age – hip reconstruction was not
possible so, palliative sx was done.
