INDIAN FACE
 INDIAN EQUITY BENCHMARK ended lower , amid weakness in European shares, dragged by oil shares because of declining global crude oil prices. Adding to this, investors were cautious ahead of CPI and IIP data.
 Further, Suven Life rose by 4.10%, after the company secure five product patents for their new chemical entities in Israel, Japan, China and New Zealand.
 Pricol jumped 2.69%, after the company's board at the meeting held on December 11, 2014 has proposed to acquire 99.99% of stake in a Brazil based auto component manufacturing company.
GLOBAL FACE
 The dollar rose after upbeat U.S. data suggested weaker oil prices are providing additional momentum for the American economy, which also underpinned Asian shares.
 European shares slid, with further declines in the price of oil hitting energy stocks, while political concerns over Greece also pegged back equities.
 US stock index futures poised for a lower opening at the Wall Street on Friday.

 Havells India slumps 20% in three days
Shares of Havells India dipped for third day in a row, down by over 5% to Rs266 on BSE, after media report suggests that the company’s management has cut its FY15 guidance.The stock opened at Rs282 and touched a low of Rs262.40 on BSE. In past three trading sessions, the stock has fallen 20% from Rs333. It touched a record high of Rs347 on December 10.
 Cabinet clears amendments to Electricity Act
Cabinet has cleared amendments to the Electricity Act to promote competition, efficiency in operations and improvement in quality of supply of electricity in the country.They have also approved 20,000 megawatts (MW) solar power proposal of which there would be a budgetary grant of Rs4,050 crore for setting up 25 parks of 500 MW capacity each as well as ultra mega solar power projects by 2019.
 NMDC signs MoU with Acron
NMDC-led consortium of four state-run companies and one cooperative signed an agreement to buy 30% stake in Russian fertiliser producer ACRON's $2-billion potash mine project NMDC will have 15% stake in the project, the remaining 15% will be shared among Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers (RCF), Kribhco, FACT and National Fertilizers Ltd.
 Alstom T&D secures order from MSETCL
Alstom T&D India has secured orders of around Rs246.20 crore (32 million euros) from Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Co. Ltd. ( MSETCL) to build 400/220kV grid substations at Kudus, Alkud, and Kondhwa in Maharashtra.The substation will strengthen the 220kV transmission network as part of Maharashtra's 12th Five Year Plan to strengthen the transmission system and enhance the capacity of power evacuation systems.
