Daily Equity Report INDIAN MARKET 
INDIAN FACE 
 INDIAN EQUITY BENCHMARK fell , retreating from a record high hit earlier in the session as financial firms slumped on worries parliament would delay an insurance bill, while new rules for offshore derivatives raised worries over foreign flows. 
 Further, Dr Reddy's has launched Docetaxel injection USP 20 mg/mL and 80 mg/4 mL, in the US market. Taxotere (docetaxel) is a cancer medication that interferes with the growth and spread of cancer cells in the body. 
 Cox & Kings raises Rs1000crore through QIP issue. The shares were sold at Rs305 per share and 90%of it was lapped up by foreign institutional investors. Money raised will be utilized to reduce debt on books; positive for the stock. 
GLOBAL FACE 
 Asian shares Osaka Exchange started trading of the JPX-Nikkei Index 400 futures amid increasing interest from foreign investors seeking long-term investment in companies with a relatively high return on equity. 
 European shares marked time after a two-day rise that left some key regional indexes in "overbought" territory on a technical basis. 
 U.S. stock index futures were slightly higher on Tuesday as the market's long-running upward bias looked to continue.

Has won a three and a half year contract worth Rs44 crore from UP Police for surveillance system in Lucknow City. The deal is insignificant as compared to M&M’s operations and hence no impact is expected on the stock. 
 ITC hikes prices of Gold Flake Superstar cigarette 
ITC hiked prices of Gold Flake Superstar (64 MM) cigarette prices by ~36% to Rs38 for pack of 10 cigarettes to mitigate the impact of 72% excise duty hike in sub 65 mm cigarettes – will affect the sales volume of small size cigarette initially (5-6% of ITC’s cigarette sales volume); but also reduces the price gap between Small size and 
 RBI planning more measures for NBFCs 
RBI is considering measures for NBFCs, including more oversight and bringing state-owned firms under central bank supervision. Other measures being considered include a review of regulations of NBFCs within the microfinance sector and a system for tackling customer complaints. the RBIs statement suggests tightening of norms for govt owned NBFCs which would be negative for these companies. 
 Siemens Q4 PAT at Rs. 603.2 crore 
Siemens registered new orders of Rs. 10,323.8 crores compared to Rs. 10, 957.3 crores in FY2013. Sales stood at Rs. 10,44.8 crores in FY2014, compared to Rs 11,145.2 crores in FY2013. Volumes registered a decline of 6% as infrastructure spending continued to be sluggish and high interest rates continued to impact fresh CAPEX projects in the Manufacturing Sectors. 
 ICICI Bank slips on profit-taking 
ICICI Bank so far is top loser among banks in the Sensex 30 stocks. The stock plunged to a low of Rs. 1,725, and is now down 2.2 per cent at Rs. 1,733.The stock had rallied 5 per cent in the last two trading sessions to a record closing high of Rs. 1,773 after the bank announced the record date for the proposed stock split .The bank has set December 5, 2014, as the record date to determine eligible shareholders for the stock split.
