To create stitched wounds, double knot cotton thread roughly 25mm apart in a row along the wound, then push the stitches into the wound 12mm apart to gently seal it together. Redden the skin around the stitches and draw lines on either side of the knots with eyebrow pencil to make the area look sore. Add small drops of fake blood at the base of some stitches for realism.

• Use black cotton double thread and work out
roughly how many stitches you will need.
• Double knot at roughly25 mm apart a row of
knots
• Using scar plastic create a very fine line and cut
open.
• Push the stitches into the wound and gently seal
together, with the knot showing, they should be
roughly 12mm apart.

3. • Redden the area around the stitch line to make
them look a little sore.
• With a fine black eyebrow pencil draw in the lines
on either side of the knots.
• Add tiny drops of congealed blood at the base of
several of the stitches.
• Cut the long ends if the cotton to make it look
neat.
• Add a little shine from Vaseline or sealer to give a
stretched look to the area.
