Steve Jobs was an American businessman and industrial designer who was the co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Apple Inc. He was born in 1955 in San Francisco, California and dropped out of college in Oregon. Jobs co-founded Apple in 1976 and led the company to become a leader in personal computer sales and a model of industrial design. He died in 2011 due to respiratory arrest related to a pancreatic tumor. Under his leadership, Apple launched revolutionary products such as the iPod, iPhone and iPad.
