so fan of longer websites and urls.

Here is it...BITLY

In this Tutorial you will learn:
What is Bitly?
What Bitly can do to you?
How to Use Bitly?

What is Bitly?
Bitly (http://www.bit.ly) is a link shortening
service that creates short URLs that redirect
to the original longer web address.

1. Allows you to easily Share, Shorten,
Analyze, and Manage favorite
links from around the web.

2. You can track total clicks,
where they came from, and when.

3. It is free to register and use Bitly

Before we can use Bitly we must first
sign-up to create our account.

Choose your desired website Browser

For this Tutorial we will use
Google Chrome

Double-click the Chrome Icon
in your TaskBar Menu

Type “Bitly” in the Search Bar

It will show the
“Bitly Search Engine”

Click “Sign in to Bitly”

It will locate you to Sign-Up Page

You can Sign Up with Facebook

Click “Continue” if you want to
Sign Up with Facebook

Click “Okey” If you want Bitly to post
in your Facebook Account

You can Sign Up with Twitter

Click “Sign Up with Twitter”

It will locate you to
Authorizing window for twitter

Click “Authorize App”

You can Sign Up with your
Email Account

Type Username

Type Email Address

Type your Password

Type your Password Again

Click “Im not a robot”

Lastly, Click “Create Account”

And now you're Done

Easy Right???

Now, let's familiarize with
the interface

This is your Dashboard

Search Tab

Filter Tab

Here is what you can do
in your Filter Menu

You can select the Date Range

Once you selected,
you can Click “Apply”

Create Bitlink Tab

This is where you can
Create Bitlink

“Paste Long URL” in the box

Once Done, Click Create

This Button is your
Account Menu

Locate your username and email

Click “Setting”

Under Setting you can
edit your Profile

Edit Profile Name

Type “Full Name”

Type “Email”

Here to verify your email and it
will locate you directly to your
email Address.

Click here to locate you to your
email add

It will show up this message,
Now go to your email inbox

Sign in to your Gmail Account

Type your Password and
Click Sign In

Click your Gmail

Open your message from Bitly

Click “Verify Your Email”

Back to Edit Profile
You can also Change your Password here

and to Deactivate your Account

Under “Your Account” in Resources

Under your Resources you can check
additional information

Cick “Support”

It will show up a site where you can ask
information for support

Click “Ebooks”

You can have more resources from
the ebooks provided in this site
you just have to Sign Up for your account

Click “blog”

Contains different resources from blogs

Click “Chrome Extension”

Bitlink from Chrome

Click “Bookmarklet”

You can install additional Extention here
from your Bitly Marklet

Click “Privacy Policy”

and lastly Bitly Privacy Policy
for your legal information.

Now let's try to make
Bitlinks

Back to your Dashboard

Paste a URL here that
you want to shorten

How to do that??

In this Tutorial I will create
Bitlink from Blogger
Website Account

Open the Website of
your preference
and copy the URL

Copy this URL

Back to Bitly
Dashboard

Click “Create Bitlink”

Paste URL here

Your long blogstpot URL
pasted here.

This will appear

And Viola!!!!!!
This is your new shorten Bitlink

Click here to “Copy”
your Bitlink

Click here to “Share”
your Bitlink

But wait, there still more...

You can also customize your
Bitlink to your preferred word
that you will never forget.

Here to Customize your Bitlink

Type here the to
edit your Bitlink

Click “Save”

You can now see you Edited Bitlink

You can “copy” here

You can “share” here

and “edit” once again

Now, let's try if this
Works

Click “copy”

Open New Window/Tab

Paste your Bitlink

There you Go!!
Your shorten Bitlink,
redirected you to your
URL's Website

..and you're DONE.
